Operations Manager Liz Hearnden, who leads NSAN’s remit across Cumbria is delighted to be taking up residence at Energus.
This move will enable NSAN to become more accessible to nuclear companies in the Cumbria area by enabling Liz to run monthly surgeries to discuss their skills requirements on a one to one basis.
Liz Hearnden, NSAN Operations Manager for Cumbria, North East and Southern Scotland, said;
“I am delighted to be moving our Cumbrian base to Energus. Not only is Energus NSAN’s Flagship Centre in the Northwest, it is also at the heart of Britain’s Energy Coast and a great place for us to have our new home in Cumbria.
I will be arranging monthly surgeries at Energus, so that NSAN members (and non-members) can drop in for a chat about specific issues or to hear about what we are working on that might be of interest/benefit to their company.”
NSAN is a collaborative skills forum for the nuclear industry and is known as the ‘go to’ place for sourcing and provision of skills solutions. NSAN works with companies and training providers from across the nuclear industry, to provide support and solutions to the skills issues experienced by those committed to the successful delivery of the planned UK nuclear programme.
Adrienne Easterbrook, Energus General Manager, said;
“We are delighted to welcome Liz to Energus. We are regarded as a Centre of Excellence and provide Cumbria with world class facilities for events, exhibitions and conferences as well as facilitating a series of graduate and apprenticeship programmes. We are looking forward to further collaboration with NSAN and their members.”
