2021 UK Nuclear Skills Awards Nominations Open

New award categories announced for the 13th Annual UK Nuclear Skills Awards.
Nominations are invited for individuals and companies for the UK Nuclear Skills Awards 2021. Nominations are open to all companies working in, or with, the nuclear sector in the UK.
The UK Nuclear Skills Awards are a collaborative event organised by NSAN and Cogent Skills to recognise and celebrate exceptional individuals and companies in the nuclear sector.
This year welcomes several new award categories to introduce some company-wide awards, alongside shining a spotlight on the industry’s inspirational response to the COVID-19 pandemic. There will also be the opportunity for people to get involved in the judging of some of the awards by virtue of online voting later this year.

Company Awards
- COVID-19 Community Response Award
- Best Provider & Employer Collaboration Award
- Best Company Attraction Campaign
- Outstanding Contribution to ED&I
Individual Awards
- Intermediate Apprentice of the Year
- Advanced Apprentice of the Year
- Higher Apprentice of the Year
- Higher Degree Apprentice of the Year
- UK Nuclear Apprentice of the Year (decided from the winners of the above categories)
- Nuclear Graduate of the Year
- STEM Ambassador of the Year
In response to the current Coronavirus restrictions across the UK, the 2021 UK Nuclear Skills Awards ceremony is being planned as an online event. All panel interviews will be held online to ensure everyone’s safety.
There are also a number of supportive packages for organisations who would like to contribute towards the event and gain promotional exposure for their company through association with the Skills Awards.
