NEW Postgraduate Award Added to UK Nuclear Skills Awards 2024

For the 2024 UK Nuclear Skills Awards, we are thrilled to announce the introduction of a new award category.  The UK Nuclear Skills Awards is a prestigious awards evening, organised by NSAN and Cogent Skills, to showcase outstanding individuals and companies within the nuclear sector. 

The newest award category, ‘Postgraduate of the Year’, aims to highlight the achievements and potential of recent postgraduates within the UK nuclear sector.

To be eligible for nomination, candidates should hold a Level 8  postgraduate qualification, such as a PhD, EngD, or an equivalent qualification, earned within the last three years. This category is open to postgraduates engaged in research or employed in organisations associated with the nuclear sector.

Nuclear companies and academic institutions aligned with the nuclear sector are encouraged to nominate their top postgraduate candidate who exemplify excellence in their work and demonstrate exceptional promise in their field.

This award aims to recognise and celebrate individuals who have displayed exceptional dedication and potential, setting them apart as role models for the nuclear industry.

Nominations for the new award category can be submitted online through NSAN’s website. The deadline for submissions is 4pm on the 31st of October 2023, giving nominators ample time to review and prepare their nominations.
