NSAN Introduces Digital Badges for Learners

If you are currently on an NSAN eLearning course via the eLearning Network  or you have booked on a classroom or online training course through NSAN, then you will benefit from our latest additional service.

As from 9th February 2023, learners who complete a course via NSAN will receive a digital badge to highlight their achievement.   NSAN have partnered with MKM to enable digital badges to be provided through their OpenBadges.me platform.

So much of our information sharing is completed digitally.  NSAN’s digital badges will enable all our learners to easily showcase and share their digital credentials, if they wish to do.

Our badges provide not only a visual representation of an achievement, but also include embedded metadata containing further information that can be read by other software applications, enabling you to add your badge to some competency management platforms such as Skills Assured.

The embedded data within a badge highlights information about the course, the criteria for achievement, any expiry and other applicable information in a format that is secure.

The badges will be issued in addition to course certificates,  enabling learners to share their digital credentials within their community, social media connections, and on websites and platforms.  Learners will be able to download their digital badge via an email that is issued on course completion.  The emails will be issued from the OpenBadges.me account.
