NSAN Welcomes BAE Systems Submarines to our Member Network

The National Skills Academy Nuclear (NSAN), a leading organisation providing expertise in skills for nuclear, has announced that BAE Systems Submarines has joined their member network. This partnership was marked during a recent visit to BAE Systems Submarines in Barrow.

NSAN collaborates with employers and training providers to develop solutions and provide industry-specific training to address workforce demands within the sector. With BAE Systems Submarines in active membership, NSAN will provide support to staff at the main site in Barrow and across all BAE Systems Submarines satellite sites, employing over 14,000 people throughout the UK.

BAE Systems Submarines is known for its expertise in designing, building, testing, and commissioning nuclear-powered submarines, which are capable of circumnavigating the globe without surfacing. They play a key role in supporting naval operations and collaborate with industry partners in developing naval solutions.
