The new NSAN Job Site will deliver a continued and dedicated online nuclear recruitment platform, supporting companies to attract, select, recruit and develop individuals. As highlighted
in the Nuclear Workforce Assessment 2019,
at least 35,000 to 40,000 full-time personnel will need to move into posts by 2030 to help meet the Clean Growth Grand Challenge set out in the Industrial Strategy.
The recruitment needed over the next decade brings the sector a great opportunity to attract a balance of gender diversity, to meet the target of a 40% female workforce by 2030, and to attract those from underrepresented groups such as
LGBT+, BAME, disabled people and those from underprivileged backgrounds.
To help employers, NSAN can also provide additional support to companies looking for advice and guidance in implementing successful ED&I strategies throughout the recruitment process and beyond.
